Fowler Christian Church ~ Covid-19 Protocols & Procedures

The Indiana Governor has given churches the green light to reopen on a limited basis for Worship. To say we are excited is an understatement but we also want to be as prayerful and careful as possible so we can do it in a safe way for our entire congregation. We have created this page to give you detailed information about our efforts to provide a safe worship experience for our FCC families.

• If you are sick, have a fever or cough PLEASE STAY HOME and watch our 10:30 a.m. live stream service.

• If you are age 65 and over, and/or have an underlying medical condition PLEASE STAY HOME and watch our 10:30 a.m. live stream service.

Worship Services
• Limited Worship Services will start on Sunday, May 17, 2020, with 2 services: 9:00 a.m. (doors open 8:45 a.m.) and 10:30 a.m. (doors open 10:15 a.m.)

• We are asking everyone to PRE-REGISTER at our website: fowlerchristianchurch.com at the “Free Ticket” link for the service you want to attend. This will help maintain a safe crowd size. For both services we will have chairs and tables arranged to practice social distancing with groups for singles, couples, small groups and families. We will be seating you as a family. Please note: If you have not pre-booked a free ticket, you will need to wait to be seated.

• Please practice social distancing when entering and exiting the building. No handshakes, fist bumps or hugs.

• We encourage you to bring your own hand sanitizer however we will have hand sanitizer available. We encourage everyone to sanitize hands after entering the building and after any interaction with others.

• Consistent with the actions taken by many, consider wearing face masks, however face masks are not required.

• Restrooms will be open on the main sanctuary floor only. Fresh Start Café will be closed.

• You can pick up your disposable communion on your way in. There will be no bulletins handed out. We encourage you to use our On-Line Giving for offering and tithe, however giving boxes will be available.

Ministries
• There will be no Nursery or Children’s Ministry classes at this time. We are encouraging families to worship and sit together. This will give us time to ramp up with staffing and procedures to be able to minister to children safely and effectively at a future date to be determined. Crayons & activity books will be available for little ones to work on and then take home. Children will need to stay at their own family table.

• Small Groups may begin meeting at their own discretion while always practicing social distancing. If a Small Group would like to meet at the church, please contact the church office to make accommodations.

Housekeeping
• In addition to our paid custodial staff, we are adding more people to clean before, between and after all services. We will wipe down all tables, chairs, door knobs, handles, restrooms, etc.

• Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the church sanctuary.
